The Wokingham Mental Health Association drop-in centre at Station House, Station Approach, Wokingham, is open from 10.30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays. Anyone is welcome to drop in for company, advice, relaxation and friendship. Refreshments are available.

The Wokingham Mental Health Association Crisis House which hosts the drop-in is a very comfortable, relaxing, attractive place - beautifully appointed and furnished. Considerable thought has gone into providing a range of comfortable chairs of all breadths and heights - to meet individual needs. The environment is full of stimulation - including pictures, ornaments and music. There is an opportunity to experience a range of materials - including silk, wood, velvet, shell, glass and porcelain. Books feature prominently. There are several rooms that drop-in users can access - meeting the varying needs for company, small groups and solitude. Table games are available for those that want more than just company and refreshments. Religious symbols are available, but not prominently displayed. Centuries long established aids to inducing tranquility - such as beads - are made available in all drop-in rooms. Fresh flowers and plants are another feature which predominate.
